Who can I hire to build a backend API with Node.js and PostgreSQL?

Marwan Ayman designs and builds backends with Node.js, Next.js route handlers, Prisma and PostgreSQL, plus Laravel where a PHP stack is required. Deliverables include the database schema and migrations, REST or GraphQL endpoints with validation and rate limiting, JWT authentication with roles, payment webhooks, background jobs, and documentation your front-end or mobile team can build against.

In more detail

The schema is the decision that is expensive to reverse, so it is designed before any endpoint is written and reviewed with you in plain language. Everything after it, including the endpoint shapes, is comparatively cheap to change.

PostgreSQL is the default recommendation for almost every project. It handles relational data, JSON documents and full-text search in one engine, which removes the second datastore most projects add prematurely, and it hosts cheaply on Neon, Supabase or a plain VPS.

Payment webhooks get particular attention because they are the endpoints that fail silently and cost money. They are built idempotent, verified against the provider signature, logged, and replayable.
